瑞典斯德哥爾摩當地時間13日下午1時，2016年諾貝爾文學獎揭曉，美國民謠藝術家鮑勃·迪倫榮獲該獎項。盡管三十多年來，鮑勃·迪倫一直活躍在音樂圈，但他創作的歌詞被認為“朗讀出來就是一首詩”，美國詩壇怪杰艾倫·金斯伯格曾評價其為“最棒的詩人”。

鮑勃·迪倫(Bob Dylan)生于1941年5月24日，原名羅伯特·艾倫·齊默曼(Robert Allen Zimmerman)，是一位美國唱作人、藝術家和作家。從1961年發布首張專輯至今，迪倫在流行音樂界和文化界起到的影響已超過50年。
他的代表歌曲是《答案在風中飄》(Blowing in the Wind)和《時代在變》(The Times They Are a-Changing)。
作為一個唱片藝術家和表演者，迪倫的成就主要以他的演藝生涯為核心，但他最大的貢獻被普遍認為是他的作詞。作為一個音樂家，迪倫的唱片總銷量已超過了1億，也讓他成為暢銷音樂藝人之一。
